Jenny

MANAGER

Jenny “AKA Chiquita” joined Mohr Gardening in 2017, bringing a megawatt smile and a willingness to learn! Her positive energy flows through to the entire crew. Jenny is especially eager to share information and guidance with our clients, helping them to better understand their gardens.

Jenny has taken the initiative to learn about plant management both on the job and in the off-season and she has developed a strong design eye for gardens; window boxes; containers; arrangements, and holiday décor. Beyond the creative and technical aspects of her professional development, Jenny has worked to build her management skills and works closely with Lindsay on scheduling our team members.

Jazmine

VEGETABLE GURU

Jazmine’s will now be with Mohr Gardening for five years. There is not a day that goes by without her smile radiating throughout the crew! Originally from the Philippines, she studied at Arellano University in Manila, majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Jazmine moved to the United States in 2013 and slowly moved her two young boys with her. Jazmine spent her childhood years visiting her Grandpa’s farm on the weekends, they would converse about vegetables and she would listen attentively as he told her his secrets of growing food. As she began her life on Nantucket Island, she soon became an asset to Mohr Gardening because she loves being outdoors and working among the vegetables.

Soon enough, her passion of putting seeds in the ground; harvesting clients food and bringing joy to their faces when showcasing the abundance of fruits and vegetables grown. Besides her love of spending every waking moment with her two boys, Jazmine also loves cooking at home.

She has the responsibility of Managing all of our clients vegetable gardens - overseeing the growth and variety of healthy, organic vegetables!

Chandra

SENIOR CREW LEADER

Chandra, known by her crew-mates as the hardest working team lead, joined in 2016.

Marleny

CREW LEADER, GREENHOUSE CAREGIVER

Marleny, a very devoted and loyal employee at Mohr Gardening! She has worked with our crew since 2017 and has established a beautiful life on Nantucket Island with her husband and two kids. Marleny came to gardening with no experience whatsoever. Her innate task orientation and attention to detail made her a natural gardener. She brings her peaceful calm nature to the crew guiding newer gardeners by showing them the patience needed for the proper care of flowers and shrubs. She has developed into an important mentor for our team.

Marleny has also become our main flower care giver at the shop and green houses; every morning as she sneaks in, you will find her on a ladder reaching overhead for the flowers with her watering wand, or pruning as she keeps our entire shop beautiful and healthy!

It's a joy to have Marleny around; she never stops and her love is taking care of each and every garden.
